Make a One-Time Bill Payment for My Verizon

As a Verizon Wireless customer, you can’t avoid payment of bills for services rendered. Verizon has various ways for you to pay your bills.

 

To make a one-time bill payment for My Verizon, you can use your My Verizon app, Verizon’s website, pay in-person at an authorized payment location, call Verizon, or pay via mail.

 

  1. My Verizon app

 

The easiest way for most people to make a bill payment is by using the My Verizon app on your phone. You can install the app on your Android or iPhone. Open the app and create or sign in to your account. On the top-left corner of the screen, go to the Menu icon and select ‘Bill’ then tap on ‘Pay My Bill’. On the screen, select your preferred payment method or select Autopay and set it up for future use. Enter the amount that you wish to pay and the date you’d like the payment to be processed then select ‘Make Payment’. When done, you will receive a confirmation.

For someone without access to the My Verizon app, you can use the Verizon website instead to pay your bill. Also, if your account has been suspended, then this is the best method to use.

 

Using an active My Verizon account

 

On the Verizon My Account page, register or sign in to proceed. After signing in, select the amount you want to pay and then choose or enter a new payment method. Enter the amount and when you want the payment to be sent then click ‘Continue’. Cross-check the payment information and ensure its correct, then accept the Terms and Conditions and finally click on the ‘Send Payment’ button.

 

Without a My Verizon account

 

If you don’t have your My Verizon account or for some reason, you can’t sign in to your existing account, then go to ebillpay and enter your billing zip code and either your Verizon account number or cell phone number. Next, select your preferred payment option, review the transaction to ensure the information is correct and then finally select ‘Send Payment’.

If you prefer using mail, then buy a money order and enclose it or your personal check and address the mail to ‘Verizon Wireless’. Send your payment to Verizon’s nearest payment address by clicking on this link.

 

  1. Using the phone

 

You can also call Verizon customer service and pay your bill. Dial (800) 837-4966 on your phone and talk to the Verizon customer service. Note that you will be charged an Agent Assistance fee of $7 when you use this method.

 

  1. Paying in person

 

To pay in person, you first need to find a Verizon store near you. Walk to the nearest Verizon store and either pay using the in-store automated bill pay kiosk or talk to a customer service agent. These stores accept payment by check, cash, a Verizon Wireless Gift Card, or credit/debit card. If you find the store closed and it can’t wait, you can pay at a Western Union or CheckFreePay location. You may however incur a $3 convenience fee for facilitation.
