Once you’re done with adding the Streamer channel, open it on Roku to establish a connection. On your iOS device, click on ‘Screen mirror’ and you will be prompted to install ‘mirror for Roku’ from the App Store. Go ahead and install it, then to proceed, click on ‘Tap to start mirroring’. From the warning message that appears on your screen, click on ‘Start Broadcast’ to continue. You should now be able to view the Twitter app on your Roku device.

For Android users, the procedure is a bit easier and faster than iOS. Go to the Google Play Store on your Android device and install Twitter if you don’t have it already. Once installed, open the app. Next, open Settings on Android and go to the connections menu depending on your Android version. On this screen, search for Multi-screen, Cast, or Smart view again depending on your device and turn it on by toggling the button. From the list, select the Roku streaming device you want to mirror Twitter to. You should now be able to access Twitter on Roku via your Android device.

Web browser

Another way to screen mirror Twitter is by using a web browser. This method is ideal for PC users and phone users that don’t want to install Twitter on their devices. Launch a browser on your device and visit the official Twitter website.  On Windows, from the bottom-right hand side of the screen, click on the system notification tray and select ‘Project’ from the list. On the menu that pops up, click on the ‘Connect to a wireless display’ link, and then from the list of available devices, select your Roku device. You should now be able to access Twitter on Roku.
